Fraser Martin 3D Animator

About Me
I am a 3D Animator with 6 years of industry experience and a degree in 3D Computer Animation and Modelling from the University of Hertfordshire.
I currently work at Outpost VFX having completed 5 years with MPC in their film and episodic departments. I've taken on various projects doing creature and character animation. I have a strong understanding of key principles as well as advanced knowledge in various areas, picked up over time from people far more clever than I.
I can adapt to any project thrown at me (they really have thrown a lot at me) and can adjust my animation style to focus on visually attractive movement, accurate mechanics, strong emotive performances, short deadlines, strict briefs and anything in between. I also try to help and teach others around me, working hard to be a strong asset to any team I work with.
I'm a pretty nice guy all round; friends find me funny and easy to get along with, which I guess is a positive. I consider myself as a kind and thoughtful person and always strive to be a decent bloke.
I adore surfing & travelling as well as volleyball, fitness, gaming, guitar and desk arrangement.
My interest in animation came when I first watched Toy Story as a child. I was fascinated by how the characters were so artistically brought to life. Wanting to live the glamorous life of the animators I saw in the behind the scenes bonus videos, I decided to make that my dream.
